Accessibility Technologies Distribution

The Accessibility Technology Distribution is a stand alone bootable and installable iso image for people with accessibility requirements who want a quick way to get up and running with a Linux Desktop environment. The emphasis of this distribution is to provide all the fundamental tools and applications for Blind, Deaf and Mobility Impaired Users that would normally cost thousands of dollars to purchase for proprietary platforms. The cost of getting started can be prohibitively expensive for people with accessibility requirements as it is often the case that finances are tight or non existant.

About AT Distro

AT Distro (Aa Tee Distro) was created for Media Access Australia by 64 Studio Ltd and Boost Hardware Ltd, with support from the Ian Potter Foundation. It is named in honour of Stevland Hardaway Morris, also known as Stevie Wonder - not just a great inspiration to people all around the world, but also the first user of Ray Kurzweil's Reading Machine, an early leap forward in computer-enabled accessibility.
